One Ukrainian officer told The Atlantic that the strikes deliberately focus on oil infrastructure because Russia can sustain extremely high levels of casualties and losses in human lives. They dont care about peoples lives. It is painful for them to lose money.

Stuff like this is gonna be hard for Russia to get over, they're already starting to limit their exports on diesel.

This hits Putin where it hurts. He's burning through his reserves and backup plans to ride this out. This increased pressure from Ukraine may finally break it.

Surprised the war hasnt ended yet. I never heard one positive Russia story. It all Russia losing yet this war keeps going on.

On the one hand, hopefully this will push Russia into focusing more on their own country instead of their efforts to return to the USSR days.

On the other... if Russia's ice melts then the world is fucked. Russia needs to wave the white flag.
