It's funny how people find the areas in completely different orders. The area where you find the Wreath is the last area I discovered.

One thing I was surprised about with Shakra.

I was convinced her mentor would be Iselda, the owner of the map store in the first game. Both of them look alike. She was said to be an incredible warrior, but she didn't know a thing about cartography. Shakra says her mentor was a great warrior, but she was terrible at cartography. And Iselda mentions wanting to stretch her legs and explore.

I just realized we don't know how much tiem passed between HK and Silksong. I just assumed it was a relatively short time, but for all we know it would be 100 bug years because hornet is basically frieren.

I messed up a couple of times with Courier's Rasher. Changed route to go via Sinner's Road- Exhaust Organ , found that much easier in as doing this in Act 3 makes the Blasted Steps route way much worse.

Delicate Flower quest in Hollow Knight was much worse.

I messed up once on the courier one, almost failed 2nd time when I forgot that dining area had 2 floors and I couldn't find the dude
I did complete the one that goes to that ice mountain top with a 3 hit limit. I got hit twice early and was like 'well I'll just clear the mobs out and walk back' but managed to clear with just that 1 health left almost the whole way
That ice one wasn't required for completion though

Ended up waiting until I had all movement abilities but the last one for the rasher run the Blasted Steps route is super easy and fun to navigate imo

Act 3 is pretty clever. I thought I had everything down to a science. No dif'd Grandma ... And now everything is different and I'm confused and unsettled again, because the map's all fucked most of the mobs have boss attacks. Refreshing!

Reminds me of my first time in the original HK. I somehow missed the blacksmith guy in City of Tears and went through a vast majority of the game without a nail upgrade.

I have spent a good amount of time in Act 3. Now that I can see how much I have left to do to 100%, I'm just scaling the map trying to find things. But unless I'm given hints in some manner to the remaining trinkets, I have a feeling I'm going to need to refer to a guide. Which I don't like the idea of, but it's not like I haven't already done so for reaching Bilewater in Act 2. I wasn't finding that place organically.

Far as plot mcguffins, I've got one of them. I'm wondering if I should just get the rest and beat the game for now. I'll admit, I am feeling a bit of burn out after 60 some odd hours. I could always come back to 100% another time (I said this to myself for HK in 2017 and never did).

Father of the Flame is also downed now. That was a pretty unique fight. Neat mechanics involved, but not overly difficult.

I loved that fight despite taking me several hours to get past. Though, she had 1 attack that kept screwing me up. Seems like there's 1 jump move she has that never missed and she used it like 80% of the time I tried to heal, leaving me silkless and low health.
