"If you can even read this it's too late for your species."But what if the mental dysfunction in humans that made us do this to ourselves doesn't exist in the next species? What if the bonobo were the next ones stepping up to the plate and all they wanted to do was build community and make everything as good and efficient as it can be so they can spend all day fucking and sleeping? They just want to minimize work as much as possible (while acknowledging that it still needs done on some level) and there aren't any bonobo who are like "man, it would be cool if I had like, a trillion more bananas than everyone else... and I don't care what I have to destroy to get there".
Because any species that evolves to our level is going to have the same issues and it'd require us to have fallen on our own sword as well, essentially cementing that they too will die out from their own hubris at some point.

Here lies Humanity,lmfao
They never scored.
I think people really over estimate our existence. We are just a sentient, conscious, intelligent animal. Any other species will have the exact same issues. We are simply a part of nature and while species like us are extremely rare in the universe, I'm sure given a stable planetary condition like earth where a species like ourselves can evolve, another species will evolve too and just like us, they too will invent AI. That's "The beauty of the life"
And it IS beaitiful. That through some chance or miracle the stuff of the universe is the stuff of life; a particle that was once the heart of a star could be part of your grandmother. That Earth itself has vast jungles, oceans, plains, deserts, that these places became the origin of so many living beings, how is that not incredible?Yeah. Humans are incredibly full of themselves. And rather than use their "higher intelligence" to be responsible guardians of the Earth, they instead choose to be a bunch of bratty Karen's.
In cutting down humans as not special, it's easy to forget that we and all animals and plants even the geological history of the universe is amazong and special.
So we're one species among many, a grain of sand in a desert, a drop in the ocean. There is no desert without grains of sand, no ocean without drops of water and no circle of nature without animals.
It's a wonder to be able to walk in a forest trail on a cool afternnoon, relax on the beach on a warm night somewhere tropical, stand atop a local mountain, smell the fresh air and say "I was here, and thats amazing"
People do need to get over themselves though, care more about others and the world ya knuckleheads.
