The Doctor - Doctor Who

Isn't Doctor Who infamous for having multiple Doctors? Similar to James Bond, there's so many who played the role well, however I don't think there's any one who deserves to be the only one.

Bette Midler as Winnifred Sanderson

Taylor Paige Henderson did a fantastic job.
By Grabthar's Hammer....what a savings.
I'll have to echo anyone who said JK Simmons as J. Jonah Jameson and RDJ as Tony Stark

I think all the characters on Friends were very well-cast and well-played by their actors. That said, if different actors were cast, I'm sure the writers would've come up with different lines and stories for them too. Vince Vaughn and Hank Azaria both auditioned to play Joey.

Tom Hanks is Forrest Gump but apparently the role was initially offered to John Travolta...I can't imagine anyone but Tom Hanks as Forrest Gump.

I really enjoyed Steve Carell as Michael Scott, but one episode I loved was when Bob Odenkirk (who had auditioned for the part) played a Michael Scott doppelganger later in the season, and it was obvious from his performance that he could've been a great Michael Scott too, which is nuts to think about

I'm not against the idea, however whoever does replace him in the role is going to have to be super impressive to live up to the legendary standard he set.

One of my coworkers talked about how one of the main two things she wanted from Deadpool 3 was Wolverine saying "bub" because of how Jackman's performance made it so memorable even if it was already a popular line from the comics, non-comic readers internalized it because of Jackman's delivery.
I feel like the safer route might just be for the "Wolverine" of the MCU to be X-23.

Anybody else they get to play Logan is going to pretty much have an impossible task. No matter how good they are they're going to get compared unfavorably to Hugh Jackman since he's so iconic in the role.

James Earl Jones - Darth Vader vocal

Dante Bosco as Zuko. I like Steven Yuen but I am not thrilled with him playing Zuko in the new movie
Hope rides alone
Sylvester Stallone as Rocky Balboa. Im surprised no one said that until now.
McSame/Failin 08'
People will probably disagree with this one, but Elizabeth Tulloch is the best Lois Lane of all time and I cant see anyone topping her performance. Rachel Brosnahan has potential though so well have to see what direction Gunns universe takes

pretty sure that one was a joke because they didn't name a specific actor for the doctor. Changing actors every few seasons is literally part of the character.
Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out because I was not a Jew
Then they came for me, and there was no one left to speak out for me
Andy Griffith as Andy Taylor, and even moreso Don Knotts as Barney Fife.

Control + F "Viola Davis Amanda Waller" 0/0

Shame on the lot of ya.

With the notable exception of CCH Pounder.

As Waller, I mean, not that I'm specifically excluding CCH Pounder from the shaming. I don't think she posts here.

Is there something wrong with the dude?

I don't know the name, so I'm not sure if he's getting called a fuckboy for being too young or if he did something to earn the title.

Jackman has been essentially the only live-action Wolverine for 3 generations of kids. As much as I love him in the role, that killed any future attempts to recast him. It's like how it's hard to see anyone else as Iron-Man but RDJ because he influenced nearly every aspect of modern Tony Stark across all media.

FWIW, I don't think it's necessarily true that someone else can't do as good a job, if not better than Jackman, but it's gonna be damn near impossible to not have Hugh Jackman's portrayal stick out as THE Wolverine. He's always going to be the go-to answer for the "best" live-action Wolverine no matter who comes after him.
I have nothing else to say
