So I didn't see a topic on this yet, so I thought I'd share it. Xbox is promising that all of their upcoming games this year are going back down to $70. This is apparently due to the backlash at The Outer Worlds 2 being listed at $80. They're also reimbursing pre-orders for the $10 drop.

Hopefully this means that other AAA games will follow suit and not jump on that $80 price tag so quickly.

Still boycotting Outer Worlds 2. The first game was mediocre as hell and definitely not worth anywhere near 70 or 80 bucks. Especially when the entire theme of both games is 'capitalism bad.'

As an Xbox fan, that is great news. The 80$ price would have killed their sales dead. Thanks for the information.
