It's official. I'm not picking it up.Not picking up one of the best games ever because its missing two worthless jobs, two overpowered characters that are just ads for other games, and like two extra fights
Not picking up one of the best games everWho said that he doesnt own it already?

its not a big deal
Its gonna be worth picking up even if you own the original just because of the addition of voice acting
I'd like to have the extra WotL stuff but aside from one of the extra fights, none of it really fit in with the original game and it all just felt like obvious extras

its missing two worthless jobs,
Dark Knight is literally second best job in the gameIts op but by the time you unlock it, you're more than done with teh game

Not really I had it unlocked in act 2. Using toad jp grinding."Hah while you peasants were playing the game I farmed the same map for 20+ hours!"
That's a wayyyyyy overleveled thing
iirc its unlocked when you master essentially every physical job except for archer
As someone who has never played FFT but always wanted to, I'll still get this version though. If you've never played it, any version of the game will suffice, so I think you're good. The extra stuff in WotL are fun trinkets, but the core game itself is just one of those that you have to try at some point no matter what.
How much would I be missing though?
though
"Hah while you peasants were playing the game I farmed the same map for 20+ hours!"
they want 50 bucks for this
with a name like CHRONICLES youd think they would include the entire series
but no just the first game and the original PS1 version at that
We're getting pre-order items and Deluxe Version items so it's a bit different with this game. Either way I'm sure the modding scene will fix this for us. PC Master Race wins again.Did they say what those items are? It could just be early access to items you get later anyway.
Agree. They want 49.99 for a DEMAKE of a psp game which I can buy on my phone app store for 15 bucks or less.
Not surprised I'll just wait for the complete version insteadthere won't be a complete collection if the pixel remasters are any indication
which are the best ways to play 1-6 btw and they didn't have this missing content discourse even though they're missing things too
Agree. They want 49.99 for a DEMAKE of a psp game which I can buy on my phone app store for 15 bucks or less. They'll probably de list that version so people will have to buy the new one.
yes they DID have the missing content discourseI mean yeah it was noted out but it seems like people are making FFT more of a bigger deal than they did with those
it was the big critique of the games in fact
they want 50 bucks for this
with a name like CHRONICLES youd think they would include the entire series
I mean yeah it was noted out but it seems like people are making FFT more of a bigger deal than they did with thoseAre they? Or is it just CE being CE? That where you are happens to be the grand sum of most of the complaining versus everywhere else where no one actually cares. And in that inverse, the place where no one actually cared about 1-6's pixel remasters in order to complain versus the grand whole complaining more.
They'll probably de list that version so people will have to buy the new one.I don't understand this strategy tbh.
I mean yeah it was noted out but it seems like people are making FFT more of a bigger deal than they did with thoseIt should be more of a bigger deal because they're still fucking up after all these years.
There's a new customer born every day. Not everyone was thinking about it every day for 30 years.Well, I don't buy a lot of games that are 30 years older than me, but if that's what they wanna do, more power to them I guess.
Did they say what those items are? It could just be early access to items you get later anyway.https://gamefaqs.gamespot.com/a/forum/5/5e6d2e0e.jpg
I don't understand this strategy tbh. It's to prevent people who weren't aware of the games existence but became interested after learning about it from buying the cheaper version over the new more expensive one.
"I didn't want to buy this game for $15 for the last thirty years, but now that I can't anymore, I want to buy it for $50 instead"
Can you tell me who said that quote? Because I cannot find anyone.
But for whatever reason, all the publishers just assume this is the world's most costly loophole.
It's to prevent people who weren't aware of the games existence but became interested after learning about it from buying the cheaper version over the new more expensive one.Even I don't live so far under a rock that I've never heard of FFT.
I mean yeah it was noted out but it seems like people are making FFT more of a bigger deal than they did with thoseI don't agree - there was quite a bit of grumbling with the pixel remastered. Unlike the FF 1-6, though, the added content in FFT was pretty good.
Even I don't live so far under a rock that I've never heard of FFT.There are literally adults born after the release of the PS3
But ok I guess.
