Depends on the bread, the fillings, the shape.

Honestly, cut however you like so long as you can eat it in a manageable, dignified way that doesn't make a mess.

I'm surprised how much this topic has made me angry.

usually diagonal, you get the same amount of crust but more non-crust, it's perfect

Usually diagonal, however if I'm eating a PB&J I cut it into 3 strips to better facilitate dunking it in a glass of milk.

Im disqualified since Im a non cutter. However if I were to eat a cut sandwich diagonal would be the preference.

I don't usually cut my sandwiches, but when I do it's middle.

Only exception is grilled cheese, I can't explain it but diagonal just feels right for those

If it's like a regular, squarish piece of bread, diagonal. Subs are straight down the middle.
Bosses are immune to the eat command so it won't be possible to end the final boss fight of the game by eating it.
