Bought a litter robot

Set it up last night for my 3 furry jerks, kept their old boxes up just in case.

they are using it, I turned to auto clean off and set it off manually under supervision for now.

Only thing is when I start the cleaning cycle they run over and watch their poop go into the receptacle and stop the cleaning cycle by tripping the sensor

i swear cats are akin to little kids, but its funny to watch

I remember reading horror stories not too long ago about defective ones of these and killing the cats by going into cleaning mode while they're doing their thing.

That has put me off any kind of remote litter cleaner

I did my research and a friend has been using this model for a while with no issues. Also why Im controlling the cleaning cycle remotely and making sure my cats dont get hurt
