I went in March, dead of winter and it was fantastic. Want to go back in summertime now

I voted wrong because I forgot one, been to like 5 countries including mine. I think my favorite was Japan also, even though I went in the winter

Sweden, Norway, Latvia, Portugal, and Canada.
If I had to choose which to visit again if given the opportunity, Portugal and Canada would compete for the top spot.

So far 13. I remembered more after I voted 10. I need to travel more. A good chunk of those were with the military so didnt see much of the country on foot. My favorite so far was probably South Korea. Spent a year there and loved it. Crete might honestly be better but I had a bit less free time to experience it well. Id go back in a heartbeat though. Iraq actually has pretty nice scenery in places.
Trying is the first step towards failure, so just dont give it a shot and you cant dissapoint.

I've been to Lisbon, Portugal and it was beautiful there. Plus 99% of the people there know English, so it was pretty easy to get around too. Definitely want to see it again

Never been Norway, Sweden. They seem like neat places though

1, USA, none.
Without truth, there is nothing.
Favourite places I've visited are Florence and the Big Island of Hawaii.

So I'll say Italy, and pretend Hawaii is still a kingdom.

I've been to the US (as much as you can "visit" where you live lol), Canada, Mexico, the Caribbean, UK and France. Am planning on visiting Italy later this year. I had an opportunity to visit Germany but couldn't take it at the time, but I'd like to go one day. And yes, the major bucket list country is of course Japan.

I have had the good fortune to visit a lot of countries. My parents were and still are huge travelers. My wife also really likes to travel, although we have focused more on showing our kids things around the US on our last few trips.

I met my wife in London when we were both studying abroad there, so I guess that England has to be my pick.

Over 50 while in the U.S. Navy. Never actually kept track. Been all over the world multiple times. I like different places for different reasons. Like a lot of South America was really poor but it was beautiful, had great food, lovely women and was so fucking cheap.

But my favorite overall area was the Mediterranean. For weather, architecture, and each place felt distinctly different even though it was a similar region. My favorite place is Italy, specifically Rome. Im not a big city guy but this city is amazing.

I have been fascinated with Ancient Rome my entire life. Standing in the Colosseum was a lifelong dream. The entire city is full of amazing art everywhere. Being in the Pantheon which is still in use today is mind blowing for its age and how good it looks. And the Vatican is the most amazing place I have ever been when it comes to art and architecture in the same place. St. Peters Basilica, The Sistine Chapel, all the statues and paintings and the whole package is just mesmerizing. Im not even religious and it just is awe inspiring. I watched a cardinal give a mass in Latin in this little offshoot area and it was incredibly cool.

Biggest surprise to me in my travels? Bulgaria. We went to Varna and its one of the nicest, cleanest, and amazing places I didnt expect. I knew nothing about Bulgaria was just foolishly dismissed it thinking it was going to be similar to Turkey which Im not fond of and boy was I wrong.

There are many many places I like though. So many beautiful countries and cities.

US
Mexico (Cozumel)
Jamaica
Puerto Rico
Dominican Republic
Cayman Islands
Trinidad and Tobago
Ecuador

I've only been to 3 of them on a cruise for like 1 day each, the others are visiting family. DR was for a wedding, I think we were there for a week.

Out of these, US is still my favorite. Even in my family, Trinidad has a large wealth gap. My grandfather built his house down there (he has another one in Brooklyn) and it was really run down. A house where you need a mosquito net over every bed, not great internet and all you could really do at that house was liming. Then my dad's cousin and aunt have rich houses in rich areas that make you feel like you're in a different country. I have a friend myself down in Trinidad and from what he says about the crime and corruption, I wouldn't want to live there. Still a beautiful country, I love the feel of the Caribbean. In Tobago we stayed at a tourist resort to visit Pidgeon Point and it was beautiful.

Ecuador had some great sights. Loved visiting the equator memorial in Quito, loved taking a bus to Manta and then Guayaquil over the Andes Mountains, it was a beautiful sight. But then you see houses on the Andes and you see people living there, another sign of wealth gap. Quito really looked run down too, it's an old city so it's understandable. I wouldn't want to live in Ecuador either, you really need a Spanish speaker to get around and I wasn't able to learn Spanish as a kid from my mom.

I don't remember too much of PR, my last visit was in 2009 but I really remember the hotel we stayed at and the car ride to a family member's house. And in DR we stayed at a hotel or resort, can't remember too much. But I don't like judging countries by tourist areas. My favorite country is one I would like to live in, and I think the US is the only one I would really live to live in out of those.

Philippines is my home country and Singapore is my second home and favorite. We also have a home in the US and are contemplating getting a house in Spain due to my dual citizenship.

We had vacations in Indonesia, Malaysia, Vietnam, Thailand, Hong Kong, and Japan. To be honest, I don't enjoy sightseeing much but my wife wanted to visit them.

Visited Macau, Taiwan, UK, Portugal, Belgium, Luxembourg, Slovakia, and Croatia for work.

Turkey and UAE were stopovers.

South Korea and Singapore are pretty similar to Japan in terms of cleanliness and orderliness.

One thing to note is that South Korea has the standard 4 seasons while Singapore only has summer throughout (which makes it pretty hot).

Some tourists may get frightened of draconian punishments in Singapore due to the Michael Fay incident back in the 1990s, but as long as one isnt committing any crimes, its a really free and happy place to visit (or live in, in my case).

South Korea (especially in the city area) has many cafes. You wont have to walk long before visiting a cafe, and a place to rest.

Thanks. Yeah, I loved the orderliness of Japan a lot. Glad they have that culture too. It was also hot as fuck in Japan, even in October >_> I had pants packed and I didn't wear any of them lol. Only wore shorts

iirc, about eight.

Rwanda was probably my favorite (my parents homeland) - it has a good mix of traditional and modern life, and as long as you had money (fairly cheap by western terms), you could have a really great time.

besides that, maybe Belgium. idk how to describe it but really laid-back, from my experience.

The commercial says that Church isn't for perfect people, I guess that's why I'm an atheist.
So far from the polls:

25% haven't traveled outside their home country

50% have traveled to 4 countries and 50% have traveled to 5 countries

The most popular range for people that traveled to other countries is 5-7 at 21%

Yes, there are certain months that are hotter in Asian countries. For Singapore, dont bother about bringing any thick clothing or winter clothing. It is hot throughout the year.

One more thing I forgot to mention. During the peak hours (early morning and evening), South Koreas and Singapores metro and bus stations may get pretty crowded and uncomfortable. The elderly in South Korea are especially prone to shoving people in large crowds (which may appear rude to tourists).
