I only own 2 pairs of jeans. I barely wear them but once a week in the winter for a trip to the grocery store. Last time I bought a pair was early 2000's like around 2001. Even in todays prices the Lee Carpenter Dungaree jeans I like at the farm store are only around $35.

In one purchase you have spent more than I have my entire life on jeans and I'm almost 50 years old. Impressive.

1. You dont actually spend the money you claim to.
2. You do spend it, but you do so out of a desperate need for approval.

If that were the case you wouldnt feel the need to drop the price in the topic title.

The fact that you try so hard to tell us all how much money youre spending when nobody gives a shit would suggest that either:

1. You dont actually spend the money you claim to.

What pants do you wear besides jeans? Because to me that's an extreme in the opposite direction as TC. None of my jeans have cost me more than $50 a pair. But I own at least a dozen pairs of jeans

I wear athletic shorts 75% of the year. And as far as work goes I have a work uniform and just wear coveralls. So I only wear jeans in the winter when it is really cold out and the only place I really go where I wear regular clothes and not my work uniform is the grocery store on my weekend. So I will wear my jeans like 1 hour a week at most only during the winter time with extreme cold. They get very little use.

At home in my house I wear athletic shorts year round and nothing else.

What differentiates Levi's Made in Japan over other Japanese premium denim?

Only exposure to any Japanese denim I got is a G-Star jacket. I would indulge in more of such but lifestyle has me in high frequency wash rotation so I barely wear the jacket. I don't know if I could maintain jeans for regular rotation..
