Cave Story changes to Christmas-themed characters, items and levels on the 25th. Christmas NiGHTS is probably my favorite Christmas game.

There's a game called Headbangers in Holiday Hell.

It's like a Christmas and metal themed Zombies Ate My Neighbours style game.

And the best Christmas video game imo: Batman: Arkham Origins.

Seriously, nothing is as Christmasy to me as Arkham Origins. There are Christmas themed levels or worlds in plenty of games, but playing as Batman on Christmas Eve in a snowing Gotham that's decorated with lights and trees. Thugs with Santa hats on. Alfred worrying about Christmas dinner. Awesome ending to with a fight set to Carol of the Bells.

I played through cthulhu saves christmas for christmas eve+xmas day 2023 I think it was. It was awesome.

This game for this year ain't too christmasy but I decided to go through final fantasy 1 pixel remaster. Just finished up not too long ago.

Games like super mario bros 3, sonic the hedgehog 3, super mario 64 and og final fantasy 7 feel like christmas games to me since I received each of these for christmas during their release years.

Most of the game isn't Christmas, but the last part of the Pentiment takes place on Christmas.
