"The company is working to further enhance corporate value by leveraging its rich library of content, which includes reviving past IPs like the two titles announced above (Omimusha, Okami), in order to continuously produce highly efficient, high-quality titles."
I mean, they can start with Megaman.Narrator: They wont
I mean, they can start with Megaman.Mega Man 11 being the best-selling game in the franchise and the Legacy Collections being some of the best-selling game compilations should be a decent indication to continue it.
Add me to the list of the people saying "Breath of Fire" please.
shouldKey word
Mega Man Legends revival when?I'd be less surprised at this point if Capcom bought F-Zero and revived it tbh.
Narrator: They wont
please bring back Onimusha
please bring back Onimushano
motherfucking Darkstalkers
While Onimusha being "back" is nice, the TGA trailer looked like something that plays like Nioh rather than the Onimusha I know and love.To be honest they have to do something to spice it up as the same kind of gameplay from 20 years ago probably wouldn't cut it these days. It was either gonna probably be something like a Sekiro/Nioh or a DMC style thing, and I think the former makes more sense.
Tbh, I don't much about continues old franchises as much as the potential console ports that might come with it.
Viewtiful Joe on modern hardware would be a dream come true.

By "revive" do they mean actually developing new games or just remastered collections as if they weren't doing that already? For now I'll settle with collections and remasters.
Bionic Commando deserves another try. And I would totally be down for Rival Schools 3 or Darkstalkers 4.
While the survey results honor Devil May Cry 5 as Capcom fans' favorite game and Resident Evil 4 as the company's most influential, the dinosaur-themed survival horror series held true to the survey's early reports of the Capcom game fans want to see return the most, capturing 80,769 votes, or roughly 31.8 percent of the total votes cast in that category. Those results beat out second-place classic platformer/shooter series Mega Man , which received roughly 24.9 percent of the vote, and action-adventure series Devil May Cry , which trailed at about 23.8 percent of votes cast. Votes in the survey came in from 220 countries around the world, with the United States contributing the most at 28 percent of the total, followed by Japan at 21 percent and Brazil at 11 percent.
