It's the best pokemon game, and the bugs are way overblown. In a good hundred hours I had maybe two or three crashes which autosave basically ignored, and once I fell through a mountain which was highly amusing and made me giggle for a minute before flying out of there.
The bugs have no impact on the game itself. They're just silly little jank. I heard it's buggier if you multiplayer it, but it's fine alone
