I'm 34 and I loved that cartoon.

An old series! I found an old series! Good for me!
Shut your BF28/9 sound hole and listen up.
Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice? Strike three.
I didn't know what this was and after googling I'm not sure why because I'm aware of Animaniacs and I know Pinky and the Brain. I used to watch Pinky and the Brain late at night in the late 90's when I was in the Navy.

It's probably because I never actually watched any of the kids WB programming on that channel when it started. But it says they showed reruns on Cartoon Network. In any case this one was completely off my radar then but from 94 to 99 I was in the Navy and we were gone a lot so I missed a lot of stuff in that 5 year period.

Slight correction: It's coming to MeTV Toons, a new channel coming on June 25th from the people behind MeTV.

I already felt old when Boomerang stopped playing reruns of old Looney Tunes and HanaBarbera stuff and started playing Powerpuff Girls and Dexter's Lab.

I haven't had cable in decades I bet they're playing fucking Gravity Falls or something on their now >_>

What is MeTV?

Also I used to love this show. Remember Candlejack? Man that one was s-

A cable channel I watch a lot of the older shows I grew up on. Like a ton of stuff from the 60's and into the 70's. I LOVE that I can watch older Western shows like Bonanza, Gunsmoke, The Rifleman, and Wagon Train.

Between MeTv and Catchy Comedy I can pretty much relive my youth tv wise and I often do. Stuff that you are probably far too young to have cared about or watched growing up.

Apparently they are now making another MeTv toon channel.

No clue how they never made a live action version of this.

It's not cable, it's over the air. The new channel may be cable, i can't speak on it.
I've been noticing more cartoons being aired on it, especially weekend nights. This is gonna be a great channel, I'll tell you what.

I can't wait for that channel. They are going to have the Mr. T, Police Academy, and Beetlejuice cartoons too. I think that might be my new late night I can put it on and fall asleep in my chair channel.

I'm surprised I haven't seen any commercials for it on MeTV, particularly during Toon in With Me or their Saturday Morning Cartoons block. Don't generally watch the Flintstones or Jetsons on Sunday mornings.

Curious if Boomerang's lineup will change, since a lot of MeTV's cartoon library pulls from Warner's catalog, including stuff they own but didn't make, like MGM (Tom and Jerry) and the Popeye theatrical shorts. Smurfs and other Looney Tunes related programming has also been running on Discovery Family.

Or if this is just a way for Warner Bros to squeeze out more money out of their library.

I don't have Boomerang, but from what I understand, a lot of the classic shorts run there are edited to remove guns and cigarettes. The shorts on MeTV don't have those edits, though the most racial caricatures are understandably gone. MeTV will run a warning before some Popeye cartoons when Bluto gets violent with Olive. So even if there's an overlap to what runs on both channels, there could still be differences in how they're aired.

Looks like they'll also have Casper the Friendly Ghost. Hope that means they'll also get other Terrytoons like Mighty Mouse, Heckle and Jeckle and the Mighty Heroes.
Qubo channel at night had some amazing cartoons, like he man, she ra, Ghostbusters (but not the movie one), etc. That channel is gone, so it's nice something else is coming!
Cartoon network has been playing older stuff. I wonder if licensing is expiring or something from that era.

I remember when TV Land did that on Saturday Mornings. It had Mighty Mouse, The Jackson 5, Brady Bunch Kids, and I think one of the Kroft shows.
Looks like you made it. Where you go from here is up to you.

Nothing hurt more than when I started seeing Dexter's Laboratory airing on Boomerang (the cartoon network for old cartoons)

It used to be like, Jetsons, Flintstones, Scooby-Doo, etc. Now it's my cartoons.

A refreshed pain was when I started seeing things there from the post-Cartoon Cartoon era.

Jetsons, Flintstones, and Scooby Doo were mine, and now they are so old I don't even see them shown anymore. I do see some Scooby Doo stuff but it is much newer where as when I was a kid I was watching the original Scooby-Doo Where Are You! from 1969-1970 and The New Scooby-Doo Movies from 1972-1973. The hour long episodes. Those were primarily what I was always watching. Some occasional stuff from the 80's with Scrappy for current stuff but again it was mostly the older stuff.

Flintstones used to be on every afternoon on TBS and now I never see it on. I haven't seen the Jetsons in a long time either.

I was already grown and off in the military in my 20's when Dexter's Laboratory started. Imagine how I feel lol.

If you ever feel old, just remember that the original voice of Fred from that series is still the main voice actor for Fred in all of the new mainline stuff.

In a lot of markets Me TV is an OTA subchannel.

Did MeTV ever pick up ToonHeads? Always loved the trivia bits giving context to the funnies.
