Human testicles contain microplastics and nanoplastics at levels three times higher than animal testes and human placentas, a new small study found.
They look like little shards, tiny broken bits from very, very old plastics, said Campen, a regents professor of pharmaceutical sciences at the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque.
The levels of microplastic shards and types of plastics in human testes were three times greater than those found in dogs, and the dogs are eating off the floor, Campen said. So it really puts in perspective of what were putting in our own bodies.
I'm switching to eating dog food from now on.
Do we know whats the biggest source of this?
worrying about it will improve things
Is it confirmed that deeding gets rid of it?
Once I get enough plastic stored in the balls, I'll start my own 3D printing business.
Yea drinking from bottles and other plastic dispensers all the time will mess you up.

every source of plastichttps://new.nsf.gov/news/genetically-modified-bacteria-break-down-plastics
it all breaks down, eventually. it's just not biodegradable, because no biological entity actually uses it for anything. even regular old garbage and food refuse is at least used by bacteria, which are used by other things, to create more life, etc etc
Eh, it's just the next step in human evolution.
this is the plastic talking. It's like toxoplasmosis but a symbiotic plastic lifeform that has been using us to achieve a higher plane of existence. He knows too much, get in contact with our allies at Boeing
