I'd call the cops, but I'm not letting them in. That's bizarre for a big city. I'd be suspicious that it's secretly a group of home invaders trying to get me to open the door.

My door is on the top floor and the furthest away from the apartment's central staircase. If they've got someone chasing them, they've put themselves in the worst possible spot.

I would let them in but not be trusting. I keep a 9mm in the hall closet so I'd excuse myself for a moment, grab that case, take it into the bathroom and get it ready to go.

So whether they're the killer, or a killer shows up, I'm as prepared as I can be.
Then I'd probably get fucking stabbed lol

There's no way they could've made it this far to my front door without me already knowing about it. So right off the bat, I'm already highly suspicious and armed.

I'd observe them from my camera feeds without making a sound and watch whatever unfolds then on.

By not opening the door, though, you're ensuring they get killed, making yourself the main character and the story about ethics and survival.

The main entrance to my apartment is my lift and you need a key to operate it. Theres also an emergency stairwell but that has a one way door at the bottom.

To get to either of those options theyd need to get through a locked door, past the concierge and a 24 hour security team.

This whole scenario just doesnt add up.
