I would like to see a source more reliable than a checkmark account on Twitter.
they will raise them back up again just slower this time
I refuse to go back to Target because they capitulate to Christo-fascist domestic terrorists.
McDonald's has always been towards the bottom of my fast food tier, but hey, if the reduction is enough maybe. I do occasionally get cravings for them when I want something I'll regret spending money on and tasting.
Also to add with your post, this year at Target they won't be selling Pride items this year due to last year's nonsense. x_x

Hopefully, Amazon, Walmart and Butger King wake up too
Exactly. Not only did they cave last year, they seemingly plan to continue caving going forward.
Fuck those cowards.
this was probably some scheme. A lot of times, companies do really dumb unthinkable decisions that nobody likes. Then they come back in a blaze of glory, and everyone runs back acting like an old friend returned from the hospital.
Watch them also turn the buildings back into the old colorful versions. They have been building a desire for nostalgic old days the last few years, with the McDonaldsland characters coming back, old Halloween buckets, etc.
We are about to enter a new era of redemption through nostalgia. And then they will do it again in twenty years.
Last year I worked when that crap happened, and it was stupid. All because these Trump supporters/Republicans got offended by the transgender clothing line and a bathing suit for transgenders. My store we had people tearing up the Pride section. We also had people harassing customer service or not wanting to leave the store being offended.
I am angry that they even sided with these lunatics. Target DESERVED to lose all that money for siding with hateful parasites.
Reminder that the only burger at McD's that's actually meat is the quarter pounder.
"Target and McDonalds admit that they've been price gouging all this time"
Oh you mean they could have always done this? It's like... corporations are evil or something.
Oh dang, didn't know this board had someone on the inside. Does your store have security personnel?
Yes it does. Sadly they can't physically touch someone like they used to. Around the time when George Floyd was murdered by those cops, retail stores sort of distant themselves from cops, and that was when our security no longer could touch people.
Hmm, as much as I detest letting these Christo-fascist domestic terrorists do whatever they want, I can't say I dislike what you just said.
will mcdonalds bring back their $1 large soft drinks?
Keep in mind all security normally can do is be watchful of people and not get physical. That also included around covid time when customers were touching coworkers and getting upset with them with the mask rules.
Well done consumers! Weve sent the messageIf the message is "nobody has the money to purchase goods now" it unfortunately probably cannot be remedied l.
I want Target to stay in business because I like shopping there and they dont have People of Walmart there. I fucking hate shopping at Walmart because of the crazy clientele >_>lol, they are interchangeable in my area.
Reminder that the only burger at McD's that's actually meat is the quarter pounder.Gonna need a source on that one
Gonna need a source on that onenever heard of pink slime?

Starbucks sales dropping too. People can no longer afford things.

Ok, well, if customers are touching employees then that absolutely calls for getting physical to protect them. Can't say I enjoy that detail of just letting employees get assaulted.
I've gotten used to not going to certain places now, even cheaper prices prob won't bring me back.
Guess supply chain issues and inflation stopped working as excuses for raising pricesprofits
Well done consumers! Weve sent the messageThis is actually what makes me not believe it.
I mean where I live you got basically 4 or 5 options for getting your food for the week/month and target is one of them, gisnt eagle, Walmart or like aldi or something. and then you got a few bulk buy options(which I dont need as a single guy living alone)
I've gotten used to not going to certain places now, even cheaper prices prob won't bring me back.Honestly, this is me too.
