This is less TC's fault now. The actual website itself has the "x" domain name. You have to manually change it now.Could always just stop linking to it altogether

Shrug. Some of us care about the rights of an individual to control their likeness..The fuck does that have to do with Twitter
The fuck does that have to do with TwitterSometimes twitter is the only place you can find statements like this. Deal with it or ignore the topic.

Sometimes twitter is the only place you can find statements like this. Deal with it or ignore the topic.Just out of curiosity, does the Twitter post link back to an article
Could always just stop linking to it altogetherIs there a difference between posting MSNBC on Twitter or MSNBC.com? Either way it's not embedded.
Is there a difference between posting MSNBC on X or MSNBC.com? Either way it's not embedded.Yes, Musk doesn't get extra engagement on his alt-right platform if you link directly to the latter
Is there a difference between posting MSNBC on Twitter or MSNBC.com? Either way it's not embedded. There really isn't. The guy needs to get a grip.
Remember: the guys stupid enough to offer her a contract, get rejected, and then do it anyways are overseeing the broader "AI" project. It's just wild to me that OpenAI was apparently so convinced that no one would care that they didn't even try to obfuscate it. They just apparently straight up cannot prove they cloned her voice without permission.
It's just wild to me that OpenAI was apparently so convinced that no one would care that they didn't even try to obfuscate it. They just apparently straight up cannot prove they cloned her voice without permission. In their blog post today they claim the voice is of a different actress who happens to sound a lot like Scarlett Johansen, but it's clear that they knew how similar it was and leaned into how cool it was that it's almost like a Her (2013) reference. So it's iffy but in bad taste anyway.
It's dumb regardless, but imagine trying this with a woman who sued Disney's army of lawyers. She won? I remember it happening but never followed up. Thats very surprising. Even if Disneys obviously wrong the sheer resources at their disposal should let them drag any case out until their opponent runs out of money,
Even if Disneys obviously wrong the sheer resources at their disposal should let them drag any case out until their opponent runs out of money,At a certain point they do not benefit from going scorched earth against prominent talent, because other people see that.

AI machine learning is BS, its almost always trained with art or voice samples without permission from the original artist or VAWe legit have phone calls impersonating the president of the USA. Friend of mine played a message he got from "Joe Biden" telling him not to vote this election for "safety reasons."
To bad the only way we will get real laws protecting people is when AI bro idiots finally push their luck and do something to piss off the Politicians or Donor class
