I wonder how many of us got hit in that topic. Since the word [ beep ] is apparently an insult now instead of, you know, a reference to someone's failure to perform their expected job adequately; I'll just stay with an approved 2-words phrase from this quote next time:

I would welcome reading whatever you have to say even if it's just saying "Fuck DToast" instead of Fandom.

2.) Someone said "DToast is incompetent"
3.) I agreed with them
4.) I got modded for insulting DToast!

* sigh * I expressed my opinion in the least offensive way possible and it wasn't enough. Since 'incompetent' is apparently an insult word now, am I supposed to use the other phrase starting with an 'F' instead?

Exactly. Calling someone incompetent is an observation based on the job they're doing. If someone is doing a terrible job you should be able to call them out on it.

But at the same time these are the same people that said "we welcome your criticism but we're going to ignore it because y'all are safety and trust issues."

Sure as long as the phrase was an insult in the first place.
Scenario: JohnDoe failed their professional job assignment.
Question: Which of the following response is an insult?
A.) JohnDoe is an idiot
B.) JohnDoe is incompetent

I could've picked (1) which is yes, insulting, but I didn't. If (2) somehow counted as an insult then practically every english word would count as an insult and maybe we shouldn't say anything about JohnDoe at all.
