Logan's losing his skeleton, but he can just heal through it given enough time, right? In the comic, Jean had to use her telekinesis to hold Wolverine's body together, because the trauma of the attack burned out his healing factor for a while.
And what is the alternative? Genocide against humans is not an alternative. There is no good answer. Magneto feels like his back is against the wall - he gave humanity a chance and in return he got the slaughter of Genoshea, as well as uber-sentinels who can stealthily track down mutants. In his mind it's us or them.
This is the only exposure I've had to Onslaught. I don't know anything about his origins or what might be coming up in the next episode.
Nobody answered my question on the other topic, but opinions on the new costumes? I love Jean GreyIt's a nice call back to when she was marvel girl but I know it's not permanent.
Holy... I'm absolutely predicting some back-in-time shenanigans because man things are grim. Not only Genoshea, but now X-Men are dropping like flies, and the entirety of humanity seems doomed.Theyve already established that genosha was a fixed event in time, so they cant disrupt it or anything or anyone involved in it sadly.
And Charles, even after all that he preaches peace.Because there is no other alternative. They have to learn to live together. It's not like all humans are responsible for this. And while there did seem to be some UN involvement, I'd have to think it was a more secretive subset considering the US president still seems to be on the mutant's side, as much as he can be politically.
It's a nice call back to when she was marvel girl but I know it's not permanent.
And Charles, even after all that he preaches peace. Like honestly I think more of the X-Men should have jumped ship after that.
Realized something about Jubilee in her fight with Sunspot. You know right before all that Sunspot rejected Jubilee's friendship in favor of Magneto and subsequently Jubilee burned his contact card, so I don't think Jubilee is taking this as a 'soldier' but rather as a personal betrayal.
She'd been considered "the kid" throughout the old series, not really part of the X-Men, but this is really the point where she's fully graduated as one of Xavier's "soldiers", for better or worse, when Sunspot can apologize for attacking her and she just fires back with everything she's got.
Theyve already established that genosha was a fixed event in time, so they cant disrupt it or anything or anyone involved in it sadly.yeah i thought when they were looking at the first class painting and were like "bastion could have been here" i thought they were hinting towards somehow going back and recruiting him. though that might change way too much and be kind of a let down in terms of story
I've a feeling that could still happen.A united assault on Bastion would have succeeded, but Magneto remains Magneto, and humanity remains humanity.
You know right before all that Sunspot rejected Jubilee's friendship in favor of Magneto and subsequently Jubilee burned his contact card, so I don't think Jubilee is taking this as a 'soldier' but rather as a personal betrayal.Oh that's certainly a factor, but I feel if it was her primary motivator, she would have gone for him from the outset, as opposed to going for Magneto first.

Nobody answered my question on the other topic, but opinions on the new costumes? I love Jean GreyTruthfully, I'm not liking switching the whole cast to their comic outfits. It makes the series seem less X-Men TAS sequel and more using TAS as a jump off for a new series.
Truthfully, I'm not liking switching the whole cast to their comic outfits. It makes the series seem less X-Men TAS sequel and more using TAS as a jump off for a new series. There's a throwaway line that makes these costumes seem more like they keep the old ones as backup in case their main ones aren't usable for some reason.
They're at an old base. We see the old costumes in display cases. Some of them weren't in costumes going into it or theirs were damaged. So they used ones from that base.
I thought this was wholesomeYeah, Jean and Storm's friendship in general is the most wholesome thing in the series.

While the outfits do seem like backup options, I feel like it's going to be permanent. Especially since Storm just auto changed into her outfit when she got her powers back. I wasn't bothered as much when it was just her but everyone changing kind of implies, to me, it's gonna be permanent.I think hers will stay. But I don't think they all will. But I guess we'll see.
He doesn't trust them either. He's just using them.Possibly, but following on from the last episode, it could also mean that he is tired of mutant fighting mutant, and just wants it all to stop.
