This would be exclusive for pro athletes or billionaires who want to stay in shape.

But even with that it won't make a difference if they don't put in the effort themselves regardless

It's only horrible if you are broke. Living a long life with billions in the bank would be amazing.
no.
it's also pretty telling that people would be willing to spend that much to extend their own lives, rather than invest that money in research and technologies that could both improve quality and extend the lives of everyone on earth...but i keep forgetting how being a good person doesn't have good financial returns, so why bother?... ugh.

Old age looks awful. Unless they can help with mental health too I never want to get close to 100. I watched my 94 year old grandma succumb to dementia and decided I was going to die well before then because no way am I going through that. A billion dollars would not have helped her one lick.

Why would it be any better? Living in to frailty, unable to do the things you love? If you have billions you could pay people to do them for you, but that's not the same.

Of course if you have billions your pass times are probably gleefully firing the poors, flying in jets, and golf.(Being sarcastic, to a degree)

If you can afford the membership fees I'm sure you'd have no trouble paying for whatever cancer treatment you need.

Yea, whats with people saying would they get a refund, etc. People who can afford $40k/year on a gym membership are doing very well and they probably wont care (despite not being able to afford $300k+/year for blood rejunivation and such).

I tried Equinox for a year, because first time users are forced into a 1 year contract, and for a giant price tag of $268's a month it's honestly very mid gym. The gym in DTLA doesn't even have a fucking swimming pool and the equipments weren't maintained well at all. I saw the same equipment out of commission for about a month before it got repaired. And they basically try to nickle and dime you anyway they can by saying they automatically signed you up to see a personal trainer and those personal trainers trying their damn hardest to get you to sign up with them. For a "premium" gym that is expensive as fuck, I honestly expected way better than what they gave.

It has been my experience that the more premium something gets, the more a la carte things get and youre just supposed to pay for everything.

You expected a scam membership to not be a scam membership.

It ain't a scam, but it's absolutely laughable how much they try to nickle and dime you for any of their services that other premium gyms would normally gives as complimentary. I suffered an expensive mistake for my Equinox membership so I'm trying to warn others especially since, according to others online and the workout subreddits I'm in, Equinox is very sneaky about their 1-year first time user contract and make it very hard for you to cancel it. The main positive, I will admit, that it was very nice to be able to use any equipments without having to wait for anyone to use them to interrupt my workout schedule without having to ask others how many sets they got.

So what, do they jack into my brain, exercise me and then I take control back so I can get fit without having to personally put in the effort?
