The Lost World was good despite some astoundingly stupid moments (WHY are you STILL WEARING the GODDAMN JACKET covered in BABY T-REX BLOOD when you LITERALLY STATED how GOOD THEIR SENSE OF SMELL IS.)

3 was meh but watchable. (That Spino's spine would have been crushed like tissue paper once that T-Rex got ahold of it's neck, btw)

Jurassic World was a good first installment, it had a lot of member berries but was a lot of fun.

Fallen Kingdom was good until they left the island. Everything at the mansion was garbo.

Dominion was way too human focused, and I don't give a fuck about giant locusts. And the Giga felt wasted considering it did two things the whole movie. (jack and shit)

The second trilogy is inarguably the weaker trilogy though.

Ive never seen them, but they look like they were made for a new generation. The first movie wasnt full of action and had a lot of science stuff. Maybe its too slow for kids now.

Then again, the movies after the first were all dumb action movies compared to the first.

The first movie was definitely more actiony than not, though. There was intro stuff in the beginning, but once the power went out the whole thing was an extended chase/survival sequence. I get that the original was smarter (on account of being based on a Crichton book, a guy known for being very into hypothetical science stuff), but the original was very much action-oriented.

I think he's referring to the Rex being the same one from the original movie, not between the 1st and 2nd World movies.

The first World wasn't good, but it was dumb fun. The ending was like a pro-wrestling match and I loved it.

The next 2 were bad and also boring. I barely remember them except for a couple of scenes and I can't even distinguish which scene was from which movie.

The first one felt like a JP movie. But the premise is dumb.

After the first 3 films and all the deaths/escapes, the practice of cloning dangerous dinosaurs would have been banned globally. Probably all dino cloning would have been banned. It totally changed the face of the planet with them loose all over the place wreaking havoc.

Yet in World they made the most dangerous dinosaurs ever, ones that never even existed before. And had a bunch of kids come see them on a remote island. lol
This is where cool people write stuff.

Well in the movie universe they did ban the new creation of dinosaurs its just that like a lot of companies InGen didnt give a shit and thats why we have the Spinosaurus in JP3. Plus after the first world a lot of the cloning is done illegally still.
