I recently tried a different method with my turkey wings, opting for a longer, slower cooking time instead of my usual hot and fast approach in the air fryer. But, let me tell you, the taste was completely off. It reminded me of those wings you get at Disneyland not exactly my cup of tea. Usually, I'm all about the hot and fast method, even with fries. When I used to cook frozen fries, the trick was to let them thaw out before cooking them on high heat. This way they are done in minutes. Baring the thaw time it was super fast. My salads I cook them so fast, on the burnner and off (joking).

Depends on what you're cooking, but low and slow is usually better for most meats.
