I saw a hostage (85-year-old Yocheved Lifshitz) describe what Falcone is talking about. I've seen freed Palestinian hostages from the IDF talk about abuse and sexual assault in prison.
To be fair, we had reports of abuse, sexual assault and starvation in Israeli prisons long before Oct 7, they just turn it up one step after Oct 7.

Right, however my post was more to corroborate Falcone's post and de-sanctify the notion of the Israeli government not doing the same thing Hamas is commonly accused of.

The literal only difference between the governments is one is officially recognized and the other is not. Oh, and that Israel has a far higher body count as a result.

Right. I'm not denying that happened.

You can't see the rest of the original post they made but it strongly implied that how that elderly woman was treated was how all hamas hostages are treated and that Israel lied about them being abused.

So let me get this straight... a few days after their horrendous terrorist attack where they took hostages... they offered those hostages back in exchange for not being attacked in the area they primarily operate out of?

...

Yeah, no shit that was rejected. No country is going to accept that deal.
My thoughts as well.

I did not base that post on only Yocheved's account. It was all accounts I personally knew of up to around February. Including every story posted in the threads told by or about freed hostages up to that point. That also includes accounts from the Thai hostages and president, and Red Cross reports. I wasn't around CE for about 2-3 months, so that's the gap in time where I didn't check the news or live threads that proceeded mine.

There was a hostage who was freed along with her two daughters (children) who described Hamas and their movements in detail from day 1 to her release. She even met the Hamas leader. That's where I pulled some of my info from.

I can't for the life of me remember her name, but her husband is still being held hostage somewhere
Oh and I just want to say that the reason I made that original post with so much confidence was because the OP's post immediately reminded me of that woman's story as it directly backed up what she described. I thoroughly remember the story in detail because it was absolutely incredible. It explained tons of questions and both debunked and proved IDF/Hamas rumors. That single story is probably the closest to the truth of what went down.
Yeah, l remember that story.
