It was really good. It's debatable if it deserves to win, but it's not a bad choice.

I just looked this up, and Bastion got awards like best downloadable game at some small indie type shows, so I dont know what criteria this topic is using.

Regardless, Bastion is a great game. Super Giant has yet to make a game that isnt great. Lots of great games that year-Portal 2, Arkham, Skyrim. Bastion is also superb.

An opinion does not turn into a fact simply because the person holding it feels strongly about it.
