I hated Thanos in Endgame.
In Infinity War he was constantly pushing the plot forward, and was the reason why the Avengers had to do things, like Thor traveling to Nidavallir to obtain Stormbreaker.
In the first 5 minutes of the movie, Thanos is portrayed as an absolute threat, beating down the Hulk without even using the stones. Now I am not gonna go wether he COULD beat Hulk, but for the purposes of his character reveal it works, he is immediatly established as a force to be reckoned with.
Yet in Endgame he just sits back and doesn't do fuck all, literally waiting for the stones to fall into his lap, rather than pursue them. Isn't this basically his life long obsession?
What? The Endgame Thanos is just doing the same thing the original one did. The entire franchise up to that point was Thanos sitting back, waiting for other people to bring him the Stones.
