I have one scheduled in July. I don't think I've ever had a physical before so don't know what to expect.

Yup. Even had a woman give me my exit physical from the Navy and they are very thorough. Even check for a hernia. And another thing they do I dont want to even type out under the new rules.

But civilian physicals in my experience are nothing like that. Just had one last week at my drs and he listened to me breathe, listened to my lungs, my heart, prodded me in a few areas like my stomach and neck and that was it.

Depends on your age. If it's a general physical (not for sports or specific issues) they usually just do an overall checkup. Eyes, nose, throat, etc., in addition to blood and urine samples.

They just weigh, measure and check blood preasure and heart rate in my experience. Never had to do a "full" physical. They do it every time you go to your annual check up, no other Doctor's visit will do that unless you're about to have surgery. Or maybe if it involves your heart and blood.

Also, even if they have you do blood work, it probably won't be same day, they'll put in an order for you to go have it drawn either down the hall or at another third-party like a week or two prior to your visit so they have the results.

Eh had to have a full physical for my last job.

Idk if being bi and the male nurse being good looking made it more or less awkward than it shoulda been.
I put my heart and soul into my work and I fear I have lost my mind in the process

Yeah, I have.

I have to get a physical every year for my visa. Its been done by women each time.
