I can hear tornado sirens in the distance.

Local news say it's precautionary due to radar returns showing "notches" that indicate the chance of producing a quick and weak tornado, the storm is coming towards me though.

How are you guys doing tonight?

As I posted this the warning was canceled and it started pouring rain here, fucking weird.

Was just on roof of the apartment looking for flashes of lightning. Nothing yet. Going to be a bit. Looks like the line runs from Northern Michigan all the way to Oklahoma.

I live in Iowa. Im used to watches and warnings. They dont set the sirens off here until its imminent. In 2008 I had an F-5 tornado pass with a quarter mile of my house. The hail was so bad it caused me to replace my roof but at least my house didnt get taken away.

Honestly just kind of used to it here.
