Every day I wake up and promise I will be nice to everyone, then I deal with people at work and remember why that will never happen.
Video games! Mario! Zelda! So fun!

Shadowrun. Idk if you'll be able to tolerate how dated it is given we have Baldur's Gate 3 now, or even the Harebrain Studio Shadowrun series, but at the time it was mind blowing.
I've got the Oscar fever! Hope you've got it too! Pour me some bubbly now it's all you gotta do!
This is a really hard one. But I'd say Turtles in Time for me. This was the coop game I grew up playing with my little brother, more than anything else. I've got so many great memories of playing that with him, and it still holds up well even today.
My head's not torn off, my sunglasses aren't broken. Amen, hallelujah, peanut butter.

Last night I was lying in bed, staring at the stars, and I wondered... Where the **** is my roof?
Super Metroid
Mega Man X series

I think the SNES version of Chrono Trigger is still considered the best despite a couple of remasters/makes
five, five, five, jack -five nobs
I've played FF4 so many times now it's nuts and I've started playing FF4FE (randomizer) which is amazing. I also really like the LTTP randomizer too.
Like it or leave it. Hey, where are you going?
TMNT: Turtles in Time

That was such a fun console for side scrolling beat em ups.

I will avoid all the typically obvious ones like Zelda, Chrono Trigger, FF6 and stuff like that.

I'll go with two recommendations. Harvest Moon is my first one. This became one of my favorite series, and its spin off series Rune Factory but this is where it all started. Sure some of the later entries in the series are better but again this is where it started. Great series.

A second recommendation would be Ogre Battle: March of the Black Queen. I always really loved this game. Put a lot of hours into it.

FF6, followed narrowly by Chrono Trigger and A link to the past.

The youtube channel snesdrunk reviews SNES games (and sometimes from other older systems as well). I'd recommend browsing his channel to find something interesting on the SNES. He's got literally hundreds of reviews, most are around 5 minutes.

I've been playing a lot of fan translated SNES RPGs lately. Some of my favourite that I've played that never left Japan are:

- Treasure of the Rudras
- Treasure Hunter G
- Live A Live
- Tales of Phantasia
- Last Bible 3
Super Metroid

Yeah most of the usual suspects are here.

Some underrated/obscure good games:

ActRaiser (1st one has a city-building sequence as well as solid platforming, 2nd one is just platforming, significantly harder, but still a solid game)
Goof Troop
Inindo: Way of the Ninja
Fire Emblem: Genealogy of the Holy War
Der Langrisser
Wizardry V: Heart of the Maelstrom
Illusion of Gaia

Those games are fun to play even though you may need translations for Fire Emblem and Der Langrisser.

Tbh, Chrono Trigger, Lufia 2, and FFII (IV) are perfect choice if you want best story plots and short game ie 40 hours or less,
Yoshi's Island
Was Duck Hunt on snes or just new?

I like Actraiser, especially the city building.

Kirby Super Star. The co-op is so much fun.

Wow. It's hard to pick one SNES game.

  • The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past
  • Super Metroid
  • Donkey Kong Country
  • Final Fantasy III (VI in Japan)
  • Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars
Those are some of the legendary tier. There's a ton of greats besides.
  • Super Mario World
  • Super Mario All-Stars
  • Super Mario Kart
  • F-Zero
  • Mega Man X (1 through 3)
  • Super Castlevania
  • Super Ghouls & Ghosts
  • Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Turtles in Time
  • Super Star Wars (all three)
  • Secret of Mana
  • Chrono Trigger
  • Final Fantasy II (IV)
Crap. There's just so many. I can't list everything.
I'm not here for friends. I'm here for the truth to the best of my knowledge of it, even if it's not what people want to hear.
