Smith in a filing last week had noted that some of the files were not in their original order, possibly due to an earlier review by a so-called special masterthat had been sought by the defense.

Disappointing, but 100% expected. There was no way, even without the NY trial, that this trial was going to make the May 20 start date. There are lots of things that still need to be done before it's ready for trial.

The Florida trial was a lost cause. It's the one that would hurt him the most but once it fell into the hands of a MAGA cult member it was dead in the water.
