Agreed. I dont know why we keep getting these when one of the two possible winners tried to overthrow the government and install himself in power when he didnt win. On national TV. The top of a long list of corruption."B-b-but that's not convincing me Biden is good, so I won't vote! Get better material!"
Of course the Democrats can do better. Of course Biden is not the ideal candidate. Now can we just get past it, get on with it, and vote for Democrats to ensure we actually have a working government going forward?
I would love to again live in a world where policy differences matter and the party we would normally support needs to earn our vote. But the GOP is a bad faith actor that has turned that into fantasyland. When the difference is between the average flawed political party and a bad faith actor who disrupted the peaceful transfer of power that is the hallmark of any stable government, you vote for the average flawed party and worry about the rest later.
We didnt do that in 2016, and now women cant get basic health care and the joke SC is seriously considering whether our President might have immunity if he or she orders political rivals beaten or some such atrocities. Are we ever going to learn any lessons here, or are some voters going to keep pretending that these political entities are equivalent in any way?
Don't think I've ever seen seen a progressive look back at 2016 in hindsight and think not voting Hillary was a good idea.It weird how you can look back and not realize Hillary just had an email server and not a genocide.
I'd love to see one of these people try to defend that now.
I mean, it took 10 pages for us to get here. This is an old discussion by now. Most here want Israel dedunded. Including myself. It didn't take 10 pages to get somewhere as this is discussed repeatedly.
It weird how you can look back and not realize Hillary just had an email server and not a genocide.
Progressives didn't vote for her for a variety of reasons.Theyll do what they did in 2017 - blame you for not convincing them hard enough.
Point is, I dont expect to hear anything from any of the cowards protest voting this year when trump executes on his mass deportation plans or when he rolls back women and lgbt rights back to the stone age.
Its why when we always ask you what you would do in 2025 if that happens its crickets from you.
Progressives didn't vote for her for a variety of reasons.I literally respond to everything directed at me. Trump is incompetent and the actual power in the United States are SuperPACs. They're literally blackmailing Biden into genocide.

Trump is incompetent
Always falls back to Trump wont actually do project 2025Just like how the Supreme Court wont actually overturn Roe v. Wade.
Don't think I've ever seen seen a progressive look back at 2016 in hindsight and think not voting Hillary was a good idea. Not that I'm denying these types of voters exist, but were there anywhere near enough of them in the right places for it to have made any difference? Was it a bigger problem then the DNC conceding the Rustbelt?

Yea fuck off with this nonsense. A lot of the most dangerous leaders in history were incompetent. It's not gaslighting to say Trump is incompetent. We all agree on Trump's mental capacity.
Its so fucking sus that anytime I talk with you or any of the other usual suspects you weirdly go to "well actually trump isn't that dangerous because he's dumb" or "well lgbt rights were hurt under biden so it doesn't matter whose in office"
Its gaslighting.
It's not gaslighting to say Trump is incompetent. We all agree on Trump's mental capacity.
No, I would put the overall blame on Hillary and the DNC for running a bad campaign for sure.I can't understand it myself, to especially in the instance where it's virtually effortless to do so. My guesses would be extreme apathy or petty desires to see it all burn down, or maybe they're just lying. Anybody saying that Trump is incompetent surely understands it's not him who would be masterminding Project 2025. At that point they're naive or a Republican in waiting.
I'm more trying to fish out the logic from the progressive non-voters for how not participating in elections helps their cause or what they plan to do if trump takes power and executes project 2025. Usually there isn't a response or its something nonsensical like "trump is dumb so nothing to worry about comrade"
petty desires to see it all burn down, or maybe they're just lying.

Thats clearly not what I was saying and you know that but please continue gaslighting the lgbt community you're so fucking brave. Why didn't you quote everything I said?

Thanks for your input in this topic. I am ghosting it now. I can see that for most Biden bears no reasonability for the ramifications of any of his actions. Blame the voter and that it is.
What this one didn't make 500TC getting warned probably helped
SauI_Goodman posted...This.
Call me a Trumper if you want, but I ain't voting for either one.
The GOP thanks you for your complacency.
Does Biden bear any responsibility for people not wanting to vote for him?
Whatever you chuds say lmao.
No skin off my back.
congratulations on throwing away your right to vote just to spite people on CE?Who says I have anything against ce?
Who says I have anything against ce?
well you just ignore every post that points out how wrong you areIs it that I ignore the posts or because I put fools on ignore...
Is it that I ignore the posts or because I put fools on ignore...
Whatever you chuds say lmao.Well, if you're a cis white guy, then no, it statistically isn't. Women, minorities, and queer folk though...
No skin off my back.
I think they were really right in 2016 when people said Joe Biden wasn't the right candidate for this moment and we probably should have listened back then.
Well a lot of us did I guess but the machine kept turning anyways. Hope all goes well either way.
Hillary got more votes than Bernieparty controlled primaries =/= general election
I don't understand how TC can keep getting rekt in topics like this and then still want to show face hereHe studied under Wimp Lo from Kung Pow.
Just like how the Supreme Court wont actually overturn Roe v. Wade.BM actually tried blaming that on Biden and Democrats for failing to codify Roe v. Wade.
The only question marks would be whether Trump used US nukes as part of this orgy of violence,
"orgy of violence" is probably one of the more disgustingly provocative (and apt) descriptions of that scenario. You're welcome. Orgies of violence are central to fascism, so you're not going to run out of examples any time soon.
I'll take that phrase and use it for later, thanks.
party controlled primaries =/= general electionOh boy are you gonna do some more gymnastics about how Bernie would somehow perform better in a general election than his own partys primary
Oh boy are you gonna do some more gymnastics about how Bernie would somehow perform better in a general election than his own partys primary
That is such an absurd idea

Different audiences produce different results. It's not an absurd idea at all.
