Yes, watching porn in your private space is legal in India. However, selling, distributing, or exhibiting obscene material, or selling porn to anyone under 20, is illegal under section 292 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC). It is also illegal under section 293 and the Information Technology Act-67B, which prohibits child pornography.
