I don't know that a million is enough to do the job though. The initial buy-in is one thing, but I don't know shit about running the place, so I'd have to hire SB_Allen back, pay him, pay for the server costs, all that jazz.

if it was for sale as a standalone asset i'd certainly want to sit down with the owners and gather some perspective on its financials, towards the ends of negotiating a reasonable acquisition price

i'd seriously consider it at 100k but i'd still try to haggle

I'd only buy if I figured I could really improve the site and make it super relevant again.
