I'm not going to watch either of those videos, but if he's in any way equating Trump's self-inflicted legal woes to the plight of African Americans struggling against systemic racism, Jim Crow, or slavery, then he's a bigger fool than I thought. That's the kind of idiotic take that should end someone's career - even a shitty hot take artist like him.

Make no mistake. No matter how progressive SAS may come off and present himself, he is ultimately about capitalism and will support that shit before anything else.

Just consider him an entertaining shock jock and leave it at that. Sometimes he has agreeable takes on sports, sometimes he says shit just for shock value and to get people riled up.

I've been following the NBA for over 25 years. I remember when Steven A. Smith was just a beat reporter for the Philadelphia Enquirer. He made a name for himself by following Iverson around for sound clips and became well known enough from it to get hired by ESPN.
