Xehanort is not the original black cloak guy. Master of Masters is. There's at least 2 of them running around in MoM and Luxu/Braig. There can be more since the other Masters were brought back in KH3.

Will his identity even matter? They'll just retcon it yet again in some side game a few years down the line that nobody outside of Japan will have access to.
