Just a reminder that Trump's defense is he had no idea that the payments going to Cohen were repaying him.

No, names (and applicable titles) are appropriate. We will probably hear "Mr. Trump" from the state, and "President Trump" from defense counsel throughout the trial.

From what I understand... One of problems with the bond Trump offered was that it gave Knight Specialty Insurance AND Trump shared control of the account with $175,000,000 and there was no guarantee that Trump wouldn't swap the cash out for a less secure asset. They've basically agreed to give Knight exclusive control of the account and maintain the cash in the account.

So Trump has now officially posted the required $175,000,000 bond and the judge has accepted it. Now it's up to the appellate courts to decide on Trump's appeal. I would expect Trump to try to appeal this all the way up to SCOTUS, so I wouldn't expect any finality on this any time soon at this point.
