Might be confusing it with Hollow Knight . Played the first Shovel Knight level and it's super fun, just wondering if it gets tough later.

It has some hard parts but I don't remember it being too rough.

Hollow knight was too difficult for my tastes.

Not really, no. It's tricky at a couple of instances, but it is largely fairly easy.

It's not Hollow Knight tough, but it has its moments. Every dlc is worth playing

I remember it being easy enough at first especially if you didn't break any of the checkpoints (what you can do for extra gold). But I died so much on one of the later levels that I flat out stopped playing.
