Anything you like about it if you've been, or places you'd like to visit within?

If no interest, why not?

I visited for a long weekend with friends a couple years ago. Really nice time, we went to a bunch of sporting events and the weather (early September) was great.

The Museum of Pop Culture was fun, and I liked the aquarium as well.
Please don't be weird in my topics
I had a one hour layover there on my flight to Vancouver

I visited it for a few days and nights on my way to/back from a cruise to Alaska, I thought it was lovely

Drove through it on my way from Sea-Tac to Puget Sound. It was a fucking nightmare. Ill reserve judgement.
I liked it.

...but we spent a lot of time outside, on the outskirts of the city, and took trips to do nature stuff... so not really sure if that counts as within

I lived much of my life near Seattle. Been to it many many times
I've always lived like a half hour or so from it, so yeah.

I lived in Olympia, WA and Tacoma, WA so I didnt technically live there so I picked the visited option. That being said even with living near by I didnt visit it that often

Im a 20 min drive from it. Its an awful place. Downtown smells like piss. Theres needles everywhere. Homeless camps everywhere. Pike and third is a blight.
I see no reason to go there.
I've been a couple of times, but it's been years. I liked it.

I visited like 5 years ago, it was part of a trip between Portland, Seattle, and Vancouver. In retrospect I would have spent more time in Seattle and probably skipped Vancouver

I went on vacation there back in 2018. For the most part I liked it, it was very beautiful. The downtown architecture looks incredible. But I feel like the city is built for the tourists and not so much for the residents.

I summon it. You spell it.
Have not but want to. Would be a huge grunge nerd and find every place possible to go and check out. Whatever sports are happening at the time would definitely check that out too.

I was thinking of making a topic just like this today lol. I'm going near it tomorrow for the first time, not sure I'm going to go into the city at all. But I've never been to Washington before this trip. I'm staying in a hotel in Olympia and am going to Olympic National Park first thing in the morning.

I live in British Columbia, I'm 40. My mom says once when I was a baby she had an errand in Seattle and I came along for the ride. That's the closest I've ever been. Aside from standing briefly on the US side of Ross Lake one Summer during a camping trip 8 years ago I've never been to the US proper.

My in-laws used to live there, and I always enjoyed visiting.

Nope. Closest i've been to it is when I visited Lake tahoe in CA i think. I'm not opposed to visiting there, but I don't have any particular interest in doing so.

Lived in Redmond for about 2 years. I loved the area itself, but the culture was just kinda ... off.

They say it rains there often, not sure if that is true

That's just what they want you to believe!
It really doesn't rain there at all.

I'm guessing it may be a climate change thing, like how it doesn't snow in Michigan anymore.

I didn't like it. Although I was just passing through pulling a trailer. So it sucked because of traffic and all of the one way streets.
I'm surrounded
Decades ago, Microsoft flew me out for an interview, and I recall visiting the art museum after. I really like cities, so I thought it would be a nice place to live.
No, I haven't stepped foot on US soil.

I vacationed there a few years ago. Had a great time. Really enjoyed the museums and the underground tour particularly.

Ive heard about the rain there but the only time it rained in the week I was there was a light drizzle the day I arrived.
I live there, the rain is frequent for half the year, but light and brief.

Honestly I'm pretty introverted (which from what I understand is more accepted here culturally), but Seattle Center and a specific park (Bhy Kracke) in Queen Anne that has a great view of the entire city at the top of a secluded path are places I have a lot of attachment to.

I'd love to go but as a Niners fan if anybody brought the NFL or Seahawks up I'd say I don't watch sports.

Never been that far West. I wouldn't mind visiting, but I don't have a particular desire to do so or not do so, and it's just not in the budget anyway.
