I kind of just got into a mindset where I start drawing and keep an eraser nearby to correct a mistake. I somehow landed in a position where I don't have to actually use the eraser as much anymore, but if you look closely you can see where I had to fix part of Articuno's wing because I started scaling the feathers down too quickly.

Confident strokes are important. I saw a clip recently advocating doing practice sketches in pen rather than pencil so you can't go back and erase each little line and instead just have another go at the whole sketch. Supposedly it can help you get a feel for getting a line right the first time when you sit down to draw something seriously. I can't imagine doing that myself though. I'm an eraserholic, hardcore addicted to the eraserhol.

I've been keeping up with your drawings since around...Nidorina I think and you have improved a ton. We started drawing the pokedex at pretty similar times late last year but you've drawn twice as fast as me. ADHD is a bitch lol. Tbh I think seeing you stick so persistently to drawing everyday helped me to keep drawing too.Thanks! And yeah, I've been going through my first sketch book (1-100) recently since I'm nearing the end of gen 1, and I have definitely improved since I started. Personally I'm just impressed with myself for sticking with this for so long; normally I would have stopped by now or "taken a break", but something's keeping me going with this day after day.
