I can't figure out my Mod issues with Fallout New Vegas

The game was 6.99 or whatever on Steam for the ultimate edition. When I first played it way back when on the 360 I had none of the DLC, so it was a great time to scoop it up. But obviously mods are still a necessity even with more customization on PC to begin with.

But I've done a few mods, like 15~ or so for bug fixes & QoL. But as soon as I do YUP patches, or do anything in the load order even following note guides with the recommended paths, I keep getting red diamonds with white exclamation points everywhere in the world. I've done two fresh installs to try & get it right, & all the mods & everything are in, but I can't get the red diamond mesh issue to go away. Should I just get another mod to make them disappear or turn into another object? Would it severely hurt my experience cause I tried for hours last night to diagnose the problem. Can post my Vortex load order if it helps with troubleshooting
Did you install NVSE and the 4GB patch? I know those are crucial to a lot of mods. I'm not familiar with Vortex but I remember the Mod Manager program made everything relatively painless

1. Don't use Vortex. It doesn't work well with games released before it. I use Fallout Mod Manager, but I hear good things about other managers too

2. Consider following a guide. Viva New Vegas seems to work well. Be sure to follow it exactly

I do have NVSE in there, is this the right one? https://gamefaqs.gamespot.com/a/forum/0/0cca8ddd.png

God dammit, is it gonna be a hassle to move over to something else & do it all over again?

The 4GB patch didn't fix it RIP, maybe I will have to migrate over to Mod Organizer 2
Are you sure youve done the load order correctly?

I didn't care for some of the changes VNV made, but if you've never played through NV, i'm sure you wouldn't notice some of the nerfs

Something is likely to be wrong cause I'm still figuring this out, but this is how the load order is there's probably an error somewhere for my problem
Had the same issue a while back. Here is what I had done:

Delete all mods off the game then reinstall them.

If that doesn't work:

Make sure you are running a max 135 plugins. Things get janky when your run more than that in FO games.

If you have Mission Mojave, delete it and replace with YUP.

Make sure you are not running double of anything like weather mods or texture mods.

You have DBF, IWS, or Momod? Pick one and toss the others.

try disabling the navmash mods.

Fuck okay I disabled everything then booted fresh, I think it might be the two main YUP patches. But those are like the biggest QoL fixers. IDK why they're causing the issue, the Navmesh stuff is very important isn't it too right? As soon as I turned off the two YUPs the red diamond mesh symbols went away
I dont have the navmesh mods, but i do have most of the mods youre using. Its weird that the yup patches are causing you issues.

Let me try with the YUP stuff on then turn off all the navmesh mods
Well that's really damn sad. Disabled the Navmesh stuff by itself with YUP stuff up, the issue was present. Disabled both, the meshes were gone. Left Navmesh up & YUP off, the issue was gone. So all the YUP stuff is off & everything else is up, the issue is still gone. I have no idea why one of the single most important Mods is causing the problem, but I guess I'll be playing without them :/

I don't have any of those that you listed, I don't have too many Mods running either. Unfortunately after testing it a dozen times, the YUP patches were what was causing the mesh issues & IDK why considering how important they were. If there's something else, like I might look into Mission Mojave & do the next best thing if I can, that'll have to be the next best patch that works & doesn't cause the problem.
This seems like user error/mod manager error, because if the main unofficial patch for the game completely broke it for everyone it would be clearly evident on that mod's comment section

Try using Mod Organizer 2 instead

It has to be Vortex installing things incorrectly then, that would be my best guess

Trying again after reinstalling & sorting since I have it from memory now lol
Are you launching the game with NVSE and not the default launcher?
Shut your BF28/9 sound hole and listen up.
Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice? Strike three.
I don't use Navmesh, but looking at the mod page, there's a whole thing about generating a patch through the GECK. Did you go through all that?

Uhhh first time I'm reading about GECK so that is probably something that is missed, based on what someone else said though skipping Navmesh is just what I'm gonna do atm. I uninstalled YUP because like @MC_BatCommander said, it was Vortex having a source issue with YUP. So removing it & redownloading corrected that, then I reset the pathways again for load order & no mesh red diamond issue anymore. Partly my issue for not seeing that one sooner, & also Vortex not recognizing it properly.
Thanks as well @DarthAragorn , @DirkDiggles , @Barber102 , & everyone else for the troubleshooting. I wanted to screw with it a bit on my own before I asked for help from people as a last resort since a lot of others elsewhere also had this same problem. Muchos gracias
Nice, glad you got it fixed!
