I haven't seen the film, so I can't really comment on how well the style fits the tone that they're going for. This is the part that every one of these whiners gets wrong. They wanna cry about this and that but then never actually see the final product. Creative is right about the artstlye. The entire world is kinda a trashy ugly. Like if you took the Garbage pale kids and mixed them with 90s claymation. The turtles are kinda at that awkward puberty age and so is april at the time. The movie was pretty good.
Rise Splinter is good, yall were just impatientI had no interest in the show, but i heard the movie was actually really good.
Not the April O'Neil I was thinking of.hunmina humina humina

One of the few things I didn't like about Ninja Turtles '12 was the Rat King mind controlling Splinter.
You can mind control Superman. You can mind control Spider-Man. But the moment you start talking about mind controlling Splinter, you should be reassigned to a different project.
Not to mention the in-universe logic shouldn't work anyway. Splinter doesn't have a rat mind.
I assume you mean this 80's April, and not the one in the yellow jumpsuit.Goddamn wokes ruining the original version of the thing I obsess over

Given how the mutagen works Splinter was pretty much a humanoid rat. He might have stayed Hamato Yoshi mentally, but it was shown throughout that he did gain some rat-like mannerisms. Think there was a point he even became feral.Well, I don't agree that should give the RK power to mind control him, but that's a secondary point anyway. The main reason is because he is a flat mentor character, and his character is literally all about mastery of the mind. It's the kind of thing where they should have just not conceptualized the "splinter being mind controlled" story in the first place rather than make us wonder whether it should work in-universe.
"You just want to fap to April O'Neil."
I don't want the dynamic messed with. Unfortunately, April's been a teen for so long than restoring her to her proper age demographic would be doing the same thing to the kids who grew up with her as one of the Turtles' peers.
Also TC:
Lara got a reduction.
Samus got a reduction.
Tifa got a reduction.
There is a pattern here.
You can say I'm a loser, but you can't deny what is happening. It's not a conspiracy. It's not internet nerds preemptively being outraged. We said it would happen and it did. We knew it would because it's happened already. Because it's a clear and continuous pattern.
I don't care. I'm a fucking nerd. Whatever.
No, I don't need big breasts on a female character to find her interesting as a character. You don't need profanity and gratuitous bloodshed to have a good time at the movies. But if there's a PG-13 sequel or remake to an R-rated movie, people flip a table because they're being denied something they used to have. It's the same thing here.
If you go to favorite place to eat and find one day that they've stopped serving alcohol, you'd be within your rights to go someplace else even if the food is just as good as it always was.
Even if you don't care about fictional breasts (or real breasts on women playing fictional characters). Even if you're not into women period, it's still a bad thing to remove all buxom women from the media. You are saying that there is a certain type of person who you do not want to be featured in the media and it's through no fault of their own. This is like taking every story which had a Jewish character in it and replacing them with non-Jewish characters. You would be selectively removing a group of people from having any media presence or representation.
It's not just censorship. It's discrimination. How are women with large breasts supposed to feel in real life when they're not good enough to make it into movies? What does it say to them that body types and personality types are treated one and the same and that busty types are the "bimbo" types that we don't want? I suppose they can go out and get reductions if they want to be treated fairly.
Cover Tifa up more. Take away her midriff. Make it so that there's no bounce or jiggle -- just fat dead space. But don't flatten her because women with sizable breasts are somehow bad people according to the censors who think themselves progressive.
It's like there's an Anti-Tit League that gets to dictate who has an appropriate enough body type to achieve representation. And, according to them, women with small wastes and large busts are unworthy.
Fuck!
lmfao
did you really post this nonsense
I was just as mad about Aunt May being young and hot in the MCU
I will never accept April looking like anything but David Bowie in 1975. Original April or nothing!!!That is the original April.
He truly did. And not a single word of it was satire.
The shot of the kids took me out
Holy fuck, that was amazing
"She can't hold her breath long enough!" was actually said in front of a live TV audience from that time period.
Just to be clear, how are we defining peer? I can get the issue with 2012 April, but not seeing a problem with the one from Rise other than making her goofier (which pretty much everyone got hit with).
