I remember my battery died on my GBC version and I had to get it replaced because it would randomly wipe my save.

Yep, it was fun

Anothwr niche game I loved was the GB Yugioh Dungeon Dice Monsters game

I bought that game the day it came out and it came with a holographic Meowth card. All the kids at school were amazed by the card and they were offering me some of their best cards in exchange.

Game itself was great albeit very short and easy.

I enjoyed it as a lot as a kid.

But last year I tried to play it again and was astounded by how slow it played. Felt slower than Diamond/Pearl. I definitely wouldn't have the patience for it today lol.

It was fun back then and it was still fun when I replayed it after it was added to NSO. It definitely felt dated though, not something I'd replay a lot.

I liked it as a kid and the music is eternally stuck in my head. I'll probably try it again on the Switch online service for nostalgia purposes but I doubt I'll get sucked into it the way I did way back when.

The coin flips are pre determined, if you turn the game off and restart in the middle of the Duel you were just in, the coin flips will stay the same no matter how many times you try.
