Why is pikachu the only Gen 1 pokemon that stayed Japanese

Seems kinda silly to only count those, since for example Porygon and Porigon are clearly the same, but there is no perfect alphabet translation for that kind of y usage in Japanese. Similarly, how Japan often uses R in place of an english L.
well I mean my constraints where that it stayed japanese entirely. if it was already romanjii'd into its chosen english name that isnt what I was looking for
