Yes, but it takes much longer than 2 weeks. it takes at least 2 months or so for the remaining soft tissue to fully heal after the fact.
Yeah, this kinda the issue I run into whenever I google about this. It's always about healing the wounds a few weeks after the surgery. No much out there about what it's like a year out.

Damn. Been about 6 months for me. Figured it would take like a year to close up, but guess it's possible for them to stay open. Is this common for others?
