I've only seen a few episodes with friends, however his advice usually reveals results/stuff the other doctors would have missed had they not done it.
I think as doctors they'd be happier that his advice saved their patient even if grumbling/questioning him while doing so.
This and the opening post are the premise of the entire show. He's a piece of shit but he's an absolutely brilliant piece of shit.
If I were in the hospital and House walked in and said "hi I'm your doctor" I think my reaction would be to shit myselfWhy? I've got nothing to hide there's no reason to be nervous
Why? I've got nothing to hide there's no reason to be nervousBecause when House gets involved it usually means you either have two days to live or you're in for a few weeks of torturous medical experimentation
I thought it was weird that his team does all the patient surgeries.Hes injured. No reason to believe hed be stable with a scalpel for hours.
Because when House gets involved it usually means you either have two days to live or you're in for a few weeks of torturous medical experimentationThat would suuuuck
Counterpoint, if House is your boss, your other boss is Lisa Edelstein
I thought it was weird that his team does all the patient surgeries.
If I were in the hospital and House walked in and said "hi I'm your doctor" I think my reaction would be to shit myselfthat's gonna fuck up your differential diagnosis
I mean, he would be fired on his first day, so it wouldn't be long. And what makes you say that
I mean, he would be fired on his first day, so it wouldn't be long.
I didn't like that show.Do you consider it art imitating life or life imitating art?
The "I'm really rude, and verbally abusive, and not self aware at all, but it's OK because I'm right all the time" trope was a bad influence for lots of people in my generation, myself included that contaminated social skills.
I'm glad that type of protagonist is phasing out.
