Interesting tale, chap.Living here almost a month
How long have you been in the new house?
Did you manage to get any pics?Mostly video. I took one pic of 2 of them but it wasn't that interesting so I switched to video to show my daughters
I think that's so cool! Only thing I get in my back yard are meth heads tweaking, but I did see 5 at the same time once, so that was cool. I kid.Hi! Fancy seeing you here
If there's multiple acres of woods behind your house, then there's probably a ton of wildlife in there that you just haven't seen yet. My gf's parents live in the mountains near some woods. Like, the woods aren't even that close by, but there's just tons of animals that come into that neighborhood. Deer, quails, rabbits, coyotes, mountain lions, etc.I did see canine prints after a big snow last weekend. Either coyote or fox
You'll probably get more cool pics/videos
What state are you in bsp?MN
Funny coincidence, I'm reading the book series. Annihilation is the first part of a trilogy book serie. On the last one. I decided to read It after I watched the movie. Taking me forever to finish last book. The movie imo is better than the Annihilation book imo. There's some changes to it.Yeah, I read the book back in 2018. I wasn't impressed. What's funny is that it was part of a short lived book club, and my wife was in it. We didn't start dating for over 2 years after that.
name one of them Turbam
I did see canine prints after a big snow last weekend. Either coyote or foxNice. Hopefully nothing bigger in your area, like bears or moose. Those are fucking scary.
Seen rabbits and squirrels of course. I know there are turkeys in the area too.Ooh nice. Would you ever try to catch a wild turkey?
Nice. Hopefully nothing bigger in your area, like bears or moose. Those are fucking scary.Doubtful
Ooh nice. Would you ever try to catch a wild turkey?Lol no. They're kinda cute, especially when the little babies are following around
I kinda miss gentle deer being the only thing I have to worry about. I get kinda stressed out sometimes having to be on the look out for moose that could kick my ass.Where ya at? We do have moose in MN, but not in a Twin Cities near suburb.

Anchorage AlaskaWow
WowI moved here 7 years ago. I used to live here in the 80s, but spent most of my life in the Lower 48. I was in Washington state before I came to Alaska
Wait, did you recently move back there? Or am I thinking of someone else

Nice! I hope they keep visiting. I live in the mountains so I'm used to lots of wildlife being around. It's nice to be reminded to appreciate it. :)That's awesome
Here's a pic of a flock of turkeys in my backyard a few days ago.

Thats like 10 seconds before my dad's horse chased them away.
What state are you in Koga? (if you are in the states that is). I am in boring Chicago. It's kinda cool to be in a big city but I much prefer the mountains. I am a mountains over beach girl. Maybe when I an older I will want warmth and sun, but now I just want mountains and hiking trails! We don't have any of that at all near me. Sucks.I'm in Virginia. I've only been to the beach twice and I loved it both times. I guess it's just because it was a new experience.
That is so cool. I love deer they're so cute and also majestic, plus they taste delicious too.Nooo not the cute deer
Nice. Hopefully nothing bigger in your area, like bears or moose. Those are fucking scary. They are hard to catch by hand. When I stayed with my friend a flock of about 15-20 strolled up in her front yard. I told her about it. She being a silly goose says Go catch one. I went quietly out the door. They had I guess 2 sentries that look for any movement. They saw me and ran..

There's a interesting PBS show called My life as a Turkey. Dude lives in the woods with wild turkeys for about 2 years. It's a bit interesting and a bit sad
First time seeing them at the new house. There are a couple acres of woods directly behind our house. I wasn't sure if that was big enough, but I guess it is.
Simba (my cat) was enthralled.
I was actually watching the movie Annihilation at the time when I saw that. If anyone has seen that movie, with its creepy wildlife stuff, will understand that it was very eerie and disconcerting seeing the deer right at that moment.

My dog and a baby deer.
Edit: Of course it didn't work, click it to see the video.
You own a house? As of last month
