Castlevania has taught me that there are vampires inside a solar eclipse so you should avoid seeing it.

Nah. I'm only in the 90% region and don't feel like driving to the 100% and the 90% region is disappointing

I am driving 13 hours out to Texas to go see the eclipse. I'm a but worried that the weather forecast says it will be cloudy, but I've been planning this trip for months

Last time I saw one I was working at a restaurant and some dude that was in just also happened to be a ... I forget the professional term, but someone who needed to watch the sky often - so he had a few pairs of the really legitimate goggles for looking at eclipses. We basically shut the place down for a few minutes and all went outside to take turns with the goggles.

Heck yeah. My early childhood hometown of Carbondale is in the path of totality again, so we're going to drive down there and spend a long weekend at a cousin's for it.
Irregardless, for all intensive purposes, I could care less.
