Yes, Boston.
Hawk, sock, rock, lock, walk, squawk, talk, mock. All rhyme.
Sock rhymes with lock. Those all rhyme for me.
Hawk rhymes with the first syllable of awkward.
I can't tell if the people claiming "hawk" sounds completely different from "rock" are trollingThere's a W in hawk. They're completely different pronunciations.
It obviously depends on accent, but a quick google of "sock hawk rhyme" shows pretty much every resource saying they do.

Hawk rhymes with Pork
So some of you think rawk is pronounced the same as rock? Loltbf....nintendo america is based in the PNW
"Rawk" is meant to be a joke word that is pronounced differently. Those of you pronouncing it the same are missing the point.

Oh, wait. I misunderstood the argument. You're saying Rawk Hawk does rhyme, but Hawk is said differently than Rock/Hock, and so the point is he's saying "rock" differently/like "hawk."I am saying that when people say, "let's rawk", it is meant to be a joke pronunciation of "let's rock". I don't care what Nintendo was doing.
I could see that argument. That said, given that NoA is based in an area where rock sounds like hawk, I think the idea that rawk = rock seems more likely.

@ChocoYou have caused me nothing but pain and suffering.
They still pronounce it "boys," but it's written/spelled Boyz....these are pronounced the same, at least for me. The only time I pronounce a plural s like s rather than z is if it's after an unvoiced consonant.
