Still my favorite movie.

Wanted to add text but I was too tired last night when making the topic.

I was working at a Blockbuster Video when the movie released in theaters, and I remember one night even before the movie was released, some customer came in and asked me when the movie would be on VHS. He was some rich looking guy, too. Why did my brain decide to make this one of my core memories?

My future wife and I were planning our wedding, graduating from college and getting ready for graduate school when we wandered into a random theater a month before we got married in 1999. I write all this because, not only did we love the movie, but it is the last movie I remember seeing that I knew nothing about when I saw it.

The internet was young and it was so hectic that I had not seen previews, so we went in totally cold. What a gift to see a film that is a total surprise. In this day and age, that is almost impossible. I dont really expect to have that experience again.
An opinion does not turn into a fact simply because the person holding it feels strongly about it.
I was actually thinking of rewatching it a few weeks ago, without knowing this at all. weird coincidence (though I didn't actually end up watching it)
