Im from the U.S. and this is tough. I was in the Navy and travelled all over the world multiple times and there are sooooooo many awesome places I would live.
Italy would probably be my top choice even though I dont know the language.
Australia would be an easy transition with language but it can be a bit warm for my tastes on temperature.
A not so common answer you probably wouldnt expect to see is Bulgaria. I was so impressed when we went there. Very nice, very clean, just a wonderful place.
I could name legitimately like 30 places I would gladly live.
Maybe New Zealand or Canada. And I'm from the US
Is that mostly because you dont want the hassle of having to learn a new language?Yes, I won't deny that lol. But I also have a family to think about, if leaving became our only option, I'd want the transition to be as painless as possible.

Saint Louis is where I'm from.
London would be cool, depending on where I could find a place there. Scotland, specifically Edinburgh would be preference though. It's a gorgeous city and with several hours of a huge amount of awesome sites and hiking trails.
Finland maybe. Supposedly almost everyone there speaks English and Finns are pretty chill from my experience. Japan if we disregard language and money.
New Zealand seems cool.
Ah, so you plan on moving to Australia.
I'm from the United States and I'll probably just pick the Dominican Republic. Just because I have a lot of family over there, but that's cheating >_>
If that's not allowed then I guess Canada, closest country to me and is somewhat familiar I guess lol
I have no idea. I'm not really sure where I could even realistically move to. I don't really have any family that I know of that's from anywhere other than the US unless you go back hundreds of years . I would definitely prefer somewhere warm and primarily english speaking.
That doesnt really matter.
All i meant by that is I don't really have any obvious choices like having dual citizenship, or family somewere else like a few people mentioned. It would be a huge decision that would require a ton of research. Like I would lean towards somewhere in europe, but I don't know exactly where. I'm not even sure where I'd move within the US if I chose not to stay in Tennessee.
Fair.
I read it with the line before as if you didnt think it would be possible. Sorry if I misunderstood.
Its not a total misunderstanding. I don't think its impossible, I just don't actually know what is possible. I have no idea how difficult it is to migrate to another country, especially since I don't have a trade or well established career, or a lot of money. I was under the impression those were stuff you generally need, unless you're a refugee or via a marriage visa. Which tbh, would probably be the most likely reason for me to permanently leave the US.
Actually on that note how much would it cost to ship frequently from America to Europe? Also would my Steam account get region locked even though I made it in America?
Why do you say that?
No wants to come to America but Eddie Murphy ...
On topic I'd go to Canada I'm from MN (us)so it would be pretty similar. Or Mexico but lot of Cartel stuff going on makes it number 2
If that where true illegal immigration wouldn't be such a hot topic here
All developed countries have illegal immigration. The main reason its a hot topic in any of them is to demonise poor people to make them turn on each other rather than focus on how the wealthy cause problems.
